FILE 05 / BOTS

Reported mode, incomplete settings

Offline bot matches are reported—but the final rulebook is not public.

Credible announcement coverage and a developer interview describe match-style bot play separately from the authored story. They do not establish every playable role, AI option, reward or no-internet condition.

What can be said

A useful answer with a hard evidence edge

  • Bot play has been described as separate from the six-chapter story.
  • The mode is intended for solo play against AI-controlled opponents.
  • Its final implementation remains launch-sensitive.

Do not assume

  • Every role is playable against AI
  • An AI-controlled Michael is available
  • No network check is ever required
  • Bot matches award normal XP or unlocks
  • Private lobbies can always fill empty slots
